She spends her days making videos using her thumbs as actors - thumbs that bicker about things like whether Yogi Bear is a moral or existential nihilist. But Anna doesn't show these videos to anyone and no one knows what they are for. A week before her birthday her Mum serves her an ultimatum - she needs to move out of the shed, get a haircut that doesn't put her gender in question and stop dressing like a homeless teenager. Naturally, Anna tells her Mum to "back the f-off". However, when her school friend comes to visit, Anna's self-imposed isolation becomes impossible to maintain. Soon she is entangled with a troubled eight year old boy obsessed with Westerns, and the local estate agent whose awkward interpersonal skills continually undermine his attempts to seduce her.

回复 蓝佳琪 :你与我和我1999年，同卵双胞胎you和me（泰蒂娅·吉拉庞恩斯普饰）形影不离。两人的外貌极为相似，只能靠me脸上的一颗痣来分辨，所以甚至是母亲也有时会认错。Me在假扮you参加数学补考时遇见了mark（安东尼·布塞尔特饰），两人一见钟情。暑假来临，因父母感情不和，两姐妹同母亲一起来到乡下小住。You在学phin琴时遇见到了退学的mark。You爱上了mark，隐瞒了事情的真相并开始了与mark的约会。这让me感觉与you的关系不如从前亲密，you答应以后的约会都是三人一起。随着时间的推移，mark在三人的交往中渐渐喜欢上了me。这被you察觉到，她提出以后的约会不想再带上me了，me一气之下向mark道出事情真相。与此同时，双胞胎姐妹的父母也决定离婚，母亲提出想要带走me的事意外被you听到。You假装me和mark约会也被mark识破。接连被母亲和喜欢的人“抛弃”，you决定去曼谷找爸爸。当晚，me在电视上看到开往曼谷的车发生车祸吓得立刻跑去车站崩溃大哭。幸运的是，you被人迷晕车票被偷没有错上那般死亡列车，两人冰释前嫌相拥而泣。一起离开mark回到了曼谷。故事的结尾，母亲解释了选择me的原因，是因为她觉得you更加独立。两姐妹长大了，令人期盼的2000年也到来了。
